Technology assignment #2

<I chose Mp3 for my technology.>

• When was the technology developed?

It developed in 9 years ago. It was developed by South Korean and it developed in 1997 and it first sold in 1998.

• Where would you find this technology?

I would find in the mall to find this technology. However, you couldn’t find anywhere in the mall. They’re in the shop that sells the technologies.

• Do you personally own a device with this technology?

I think so. I think that, earphone is one of the device that for Mp3 player. Also USB device is important for put musics in the player.

• What are the main uses for this technology?

I’m using this for listening music. Also, sometimes I watch movies and played a game inside of the player.

• Are there other uses that you can think of?

Yes. For today, there are lots of players that can put videos, pictures, and other things. So, there are lots of spaces for them.

• Do you feel this technology will still be used in 10 years from now or be replaced with something better?

I think that 10 years later, there are better things will be develop. Like, we will also put computer downloaded games inside of the player.

Question #1 – How is technology used in education? (overall)

Computer: It helps us to find information about something. For example, search engines like google, yahoo etc. help to find easily about something.  

Question #2 - How do you personally use technology in aiding your learning at NJIS (during school, homework, etc)?

I use computer in aiding my learning. Like at the top, it finds lots of informations that I want. Also like microsoft word, I can choose the form of letter, the size of letter, and it correts my grammar, sentence, and vocabulary.

Question #3 – Does technology improve your education or create more complexity (therefore becoming a negative aspect)?

They help me to easy to find information. However, sometimes it creates more complexity because if I found information about someting, the information about something are so many and I was hard to find what is real information about something. Also, some of information is so detail and we could copy the information of it.
